Such a small word, such a huge meaning. Love is probably the most beautiful feeling anyone can ever have. We all are attached to someone or something. Like we love our special ones, our pets, some specific things.
But here, the love I’m talking about is where a person falls for the other person. A person feel something that he/she had never felt before. The love between two people who don’t have blood connection but heart connection.
I think a lot of people don’t understand what real love is. Anyone can buy you flowers, candy and jewelry, there’s no love in that. The truly lovable things in life are those little things you do everyday to show care, and that you’re thinking of them.
The way you hold her hand when you know she’s not alright, or save the last piece of cake for him. The random text in the middle of the day, just to say “I love you” or “I miss you”. The way he stops to kiss you when he passes by. It’s dedicating her favorite song to her; and letting him eat your fries; telling her that she’s beautiful, even when she’s in her sweats; with her hair in a ponytail or no makeup. It’s putting your favorite show on pause so you can share about your whole day, and laughing at his jokes even the really lame ones. It’s slow dancing in the rain.
Real love is experiencing the type of feeling that can take your breath away. Making memories that nourishes you. Doing small things together that mean little to others but mean everything to you. Love is simply being with someone who always tries to make you happy, put efforts in you.
But obviously, love isn’t always perfect, love isn’t always easy, love doesn’t always make sense, but that’s the beauty of love. There’s going to be very tough moments in love that will change the entire relationship. Either it will make you stronger or it will break you into pieces and that’s entirely depends on how you react those moments. These moments will change you. Let them make your love stronger and kinder. But don’t you become someone you’re not.
Love is difficult because so many have it backwards. They look as to what love can give them. But that’s not the way love works. Love always looks for what it can give more than what it can get.
Love is neither easy nor difficult. Love is beautiful. And it looks more beautiful when you’re in love with the right person.
“Love is in the gestures.”
